Tetsuo Takahara was a graphic designer and a painter. He created handmade and hand-painted clothes and general merchandise for his company, which he set up with the fashion designer Yuka Michigami in 1997. He was particularly gifted in depicting the unique expressions of cats and dogs, especially Boston Terriers.
